Florida death metal legends Deicide have officially welcomed Jadran “Conan” Gonzalez of Exmortus as their new guitarist. Gonzalez steps in following the departure of longtime member Kevin Quirion, who announced his exit from the band earlier this year.
In their statement, Deicide confirmed:
“Deicide has recruited Exmortus shredder Jadran ‘Conan’ Gonzalez to replace long-time guitarist Kevin Quirion. Conan will be making his first appearance with Deicide on the band’s upcoming Latin American tour with Behemoth. The band promises a relentless and powerhouse return to the live stages.”
Gonzalez himself expressed his excitement, adding:
“I’m thrilled and honored to jam amongst such legends as Glen and Steve and to hang with the rest of the team. I thank them for having me on board. I’m looking forward to unleashing hell in Latin America on this tour.”
