Devin Townsend To Return To The Road This Fall For A European/UK Tour

Canadian prog‑rock visionary Devin Townsend is ending his self‑imposed break from live shows and heading back to the stage this fall with a solo European/UK run. The outing coincides with the release of his new 24‑track orchestral‑leaning rock opera ‘The Moth’, set to drop on May 29 and marking a major creative milestone in his career.

Townsend stepped back from touring last spring, announcing at the time that he wanted to focus more on his home life and being present for his family. With ‘The Moth’ finished and his personal life feeling more stable, he has now mapped out a 23‑date “Metamorphosis Solo Tour” across ten European and UK territories this September and October.

In a statement welcoming fans back, he framed the trek as something intimate yet theatrically bold:

“After spending the past couple of years working through things at home and the logistics of it all, it now feels like time to step back out into the wild. I’m heading out at the end of the year for a run of one man performances, and I’m very excited about it. Twenty‑three shows in ten countries across Europe.

Expect something different. The set will change from night to night, but the idea is simple: a modern take on a one man band. Just me, the music, a stage full of weirdness, and the stories behind it all.
