Devin Townsend Releases New Song “Hotter” From Patreon-Exclusive Album

Devin Townsend has publicly released a new song titled “Hotter,” taken from his Patreon-exclusive album ‘Seeker – Ban Khao Tao’.

The ambient track was recorded during Townsend’s travels abroad, which he previously described as being “across the other side of the world.” Reflecting on the experience and the environment that inspired the song, Townsend shared:

“Never been in a place that was in such unique harmony with itself. I could live there. Lots of wild dogs and unique societal pathways that need respecting, but I loved the place and I loved the people.”

“Hotter” offers a glimpse into the exploratory and atmospheric direction Townsend has embraced during this period, with his Patreon serving as his primary creative outlet.

Townsend stepped away from touring in April of 2025 and has since focused on writing, recording, and releasing music directly to fans through his Patreon platform.
