Diamond Construct have unveiled a new single titled “Discarded,” now available to stream alongside its newly released music video. The track sees the band leaning into raw emotion, exploring themes of self-worth, rejection, and emotional fallout.
Vocalist Kynan Groundwater explained the personal weight behind the song:
“The song explores personal battles with feeling like you’re never good enough for someone time after time. It’s about longing for real love, and the sense of loss when it all goes south. This song resonates deeply with me, and I know it’ll be cathartic to perform live, similar to how ‘Faded’ feels therapeutic on stage. I think ‘Discarded’ will connect with people who’ve experienced that same loneliness and struggle with self-worth.”
The accompanying music video was directed by Colin Jeffs and arrived online alongside the song’s debut, visually amplifying the track’s emotional intensity.
