Dimmu Borgir Debut “Ascent” Music Video

Norwegian symphonic black metal titans Dimmu Borgir have unveiled “Ascent,” the second single from their long-awaited tenth studio album ‘Grand Serpent Rising’.

The track arrives alongside a new official music video directed by Patric Ullaeus, whose extensive resume includes work with Arch Enemy and Amorphis.

‘Grand Serpent Rising’ is set for release on May 22nd and marks the band’s first full-length effort since 2018’s ‘Eonian’. The album was first introduced late last month with lead single “Ulvgjeld & Blodsodel,” while “Ascent” now offers fans another glimpse into the next chapter of the legendary group’s sound.

Known for blending orchestral grandeur, icy black metal aggression, and cinematic atmosphere, Dimmu Borgir remain one of the most influential names in extreme metal.
