Downswing appear to be putting the finishing touches on their upcoming full-length, and based on their latest update, it’s shaping up to be their most definitive work yet. The Albany, NY-based metalcore band took to social media today (August 4th) to share that they’ve completed a full playback of the new record, commenting:

“Just got to listen front to back of our upcoming album for the first time. It’s heavy, it’s singy, it’s aggressive, it’s dynamic. This is the band we’ve always wanted to be summed up into 11 songs. Can’t wait to show you.”
With recording wrapped, Downswing will return to the road next month as part of He Is Legend’s upcoming Suck Out The Poison 20th anniversary tour. That run will also feature Eyes Set To Kill and TEETH on select dates.
