DragonForce are preparing to take their newly reconfigured lineup across Europe and the UK in 2027, with Visions Of Atlantis and Wings Of Steel joining the platinum-certified power metal band for the trek.
The upcoming run will also serve as an extended 20th anniversary celebration of the band’s landmark album ‘Inhuman Rampage’, while giving fans an opportunity to hear material from DragonForce’s forthcoming self-titled record.
The tour announcement arrives during a period of significant change for DragonForce. Vocalist Marc Hudson recently stepped away from the band after dealing with tinnitus, with his former vocal coach and Power Quest vocalist Alessio Garavello stepping into the role.
Garavello also appears on the group’s upcoming self-titled album, which is scheduled for release on March 19. DragonForce recently introduced the record with the single “Hunger Of The Beast”, accompanied by a new music video.
Guitarist Herman Li said the upcoming shows will combine the band’s new material with a special set dedicated to ‘Inhuman Rampage’.
“We are so excited to be able to play both our new songs and a special Inhuman Rampage set in Europe. This is a new era for the band, and I’m so proud of the new record. I can’t wait to bring this new show to Europe!”
Vocalist Alissa White-Gluz also shared her enthusiasm for returning to European stages.
“Excitement would be an understatement – I’m thrilled to be back in my usual stomping ground and bring this exciting new concert to our European fans. See you soon!”
Local presales are scheduled to begin September 28 at 10 a.m. CET, with general European ticket sales following on September 30.
