Dropkick Murphys & Haywire Unite For New Split Release ‘New England Forever’

Boston punk stalwarts Dropkick Murphys and hometown compatriots Haywire have teamed up for a brand-new split release titled New England Forever, coinciding with their upcoming joint tour. Both bands contributed three new original tracks and a cover of the other’s work, plus collaborated on select songs for the release.

On the covers, Dropkick Murphys take on Haywire’s “Always By My Side,” while Haywire adapts the Dropkick Murphys classic “The Boys Are Back.” The collaborative spirit continues with each band appearing as a feature on one of the other’s new tracks. Notably, “Citizen I.C.E.” is a reworked version of Dropkick Murphys’ previously released “Citizen C.I.A.”

New England Forever will be available exclusively during the bands’ upcoming ‘For The People…In The Pit St. Patrick’s Day Tour’, which runs from February 9 to March 17.
