Drosera Announce New EP ‘Outlier’, Debut “Instigator” Music Video

Florida metallic hardcore outfit Drosera have announced plans to release a new EP titled ‘Outlier’ on May 15th.

The three-song effort will arrive via Lambgoat Records and was recorded with producer John Howard. Serving as the first preview of the release, the band have issued the single “Instigator”, accompanied by a newly premiered music video directed by the group’s newest member, guitarist Matthew Zagorski.

Discussing the EP and the band’s current momentum, the quintet shared:

“These are some of the first songs totally written and recorded as a five piece, so it feels like a shift into a new era for us, an exciting one. We’re excited to work with Lambgoat Records on this and see where the road leads, can’t wait to show you what else we’ve been working on.”

‘Outlier’ compiles three tracks that mark the band’s first fully realized material with their current lineup.

In support of the EP, Drosera will hit the road later this month for a U.S. run alongside lowheaven. Dates for that trek are listed below.
