Drowning Pool made a high-profile TV appearance last night (September 08th), teaming up with OFFSET and J.I.D. for a special performance on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’. The collaboration featured the track “Bodies”, originally released by Drowning Pool in 2001 and recently sampled in OFFSET and J.I.D.’s own version.
The original single, from the Texas band’s platinum-selling debut Sinner, remains one of the defining songs of the early 2000s nü-metal era. Its reimagined presence in hip-hop has brought the anthem to a whole new audience.
Beyond the TV spotlight, Drowning Pool have also been in the studio, working on a new EP slated for release in 2026 through SBG Records.
