Drowning Pool Announce Expanded 25th Anniversary Edition Of ‘Sinner’ With Bonus Tracks & Rare Cuts

Drowning Pool have announced a June 5th release for a 25th anniversary expanded edition of their breakthrough 2001 debut album ‘Sinner’, celebrating the record that helped define the early 2000s nü-metal era.

The platinum-certified album catapulted the Texas band into the mainstream, driven by iconic singles “Bodies” and “Tear Away,” both of which remain the group’s most recognized tracks to date.

The upcoming reissue will include new limited-edition vinyl pressings alongside an expanded digital release featuring a collection of bonus material, including three previously released soundtrack cuts.

Among the additions is “The Man Without Fear,” a collaboration with Rob Zombie featured on the 2003 Daredevil soundtrack, as well as the “XXX Tweaker Mix” of “Bodies” remixed by Chris Vrenna, formerly of Nine Inch Nails, originally appearing on the xXx soundtrack.

Also included is a demo version of “Break You,” previously featured on The Scorpion King soundtrack and later released on the Unlucky 13th Anniversary Deluxe Edition of ‘Sinner’.

The release carries added emotional weight, as ‘Sinner’ remains the only album recorded with late vocalist Dave Williams, who passed away in 2002 during the Ozzfest tour.
