Multi-platinum nü-metal band Drowning Pool have reportedly been forced to cancel their planned seven-date South American tour, with early indications pointing to low ticket sales as the primary reason behind the decision.
Although the band has yet to issue an official statement, a message circulating online—said to come from the tour’s local organizers—confirms that the run has been scrapped entirely. The announcement also notes that previously listed tour dates have been removed from ticketing platforms.
production teams due to underwhelming sales across all scheduled cities. Fans who purchased tickets are being directed to seek refunds through their original point of purchase.
“We regret to inform you that Drowning Pool‘s tour in South America has been officially cancelled. The decision was made jointly by all the local producers involved, due to low ticket sales in all cities on the tour.”
The statement further instructs ticket holders to contact their respective local ticketing companies for refund assistance and additional guidance.
While no further clarification has been provided by the band at this time, the cancellation marks a setback for the group’s international touring plans.

Well. It’s Drowning Pool. Makes sense.
Something got to give NOW!!!!
Honestly it’s a very busy tour year and we’ve likely all seen them now so they have to put out new music or tour with other bands to get more of an appeal. DP is great
Joc Barnes your mom loves DP
Sorry, but after Dave died, not really good after that.
You mean they have more than one song ?
Deathcore Shane I didn’t even see your comment before I literally posted the same thing 😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂
Johnny Tipton comment didn’t quite hit the way you wanted did it fellas 😂 goofy ass mfers
Deathcore Shane their first album was awesome from beginning to end, but their original singer died from a heart condition and everything they did after that was pretty generic.
They literally have only one song right 🤣😂😆😂😆
Johnny Tipton man, you’ve apparently not listened to the catalog.
They have one song that is an all timer (like in maybe Top 30 or 50 EVER) but so much good including solid new music (Revolution, Madness).
It’s easy to throw darts from afar when you apparently haven’t listened. Give it a shot.
Johnny Tipton nobody else is laughing…
Drowning Pool died back with Dave Williams back in 2002, as far as I’m concerned.
