Dry Kill Logic are celebrating the 20th anniversary of one of their most notable albums with its first-ever vinyl pressing.
The nü-metal/groove metal outfit have announced plans to release their 2006 third studio album ‘Of Vengeance And Violence’ on vinyl for the first time. The anniversary pressing will be available in two variants: yellow and black galaxy and purple smoke.
Both variants will be limited to just 125 copies each, with pre-orders now available through the band’s online store. The release is currently expected to arrive in late October.
Vocalist Cliff Rigano commented on the anniversary release:
“This record has meant so much, both to us and to the people who have carried it with them for the last 20 years. Being able to celebrate it by finally releasing it on vinyl and playing Louder Than Life is surreal.”
Dry Kill Logic will also be looking toward the future this week, with the band scheduled to perform at Louder Than Life in Louisville, KY on September 18.
Following the festival appearance, the group will return to Silver Bullet Studios to continue work on their long-awaited comeback album with producer Greg Thomas, known for his work with 100 Demons and Blood For Blood.
The forthcoming record, titled ‘Your Sins Will Find You’, will mark Dry Kill Logic’s first new album since ‘Of Vengeance And Violence’.
Further details on the new album are expected as the recording sessions continue.
