ELECTRIC CALLBOY Part Ways With Longtime Drummer David-Karl Friedrich After 13 Years

Electric Callboy have officially parted ways with drummer David-Karl Friedrich, who has been with the band for the past 13 years. While a replacement has yet to be named, the band has confirmed that all scheduled tour dates and festival appearances will go ahead as planned.

In a heartfelt bilingual statement shared on their social media channels, the band wrote:

“Hey guys,
Something is going to change, and we want to share it with you today.

After all these years with us, David has decided that he wants to do something new and will follow his own path from now on.

Of course, we’re really sad about this, but we also have great respect for his decision. We can look back on 13 years with David as our drummer and no one can take away all the wonderful memories of our journey together. This time will always be a part of Electric Callboy. And for that, we say thank you! For his talented hands and feet, for thousands of crazy and emotional moments on and off stage, for lits of Hypa Hypa, and for more than a decade of EC on tour.

And don’t worry: of course we will play all festivals and upcoming concerts with a drummer. We will let you know soon who exactly.
