Emmure frontman Frankie Palmeri has once again sparked controversy with his outspoken political commentary on X. In recent weeks, he’s weighed in on several high-profile topics, including the assassination of right-wing activist Charlie Kirk, while continuing his criticism of Antifa. Palmeri has voiced support for recent U.S. measures targeting the movement, including its designation as a terrorist organization and arrests of affiliated members.
This political shift has surprised longtime followers, as Palmeri previously used social media largely to post about Emmure, classic fighting video games, and Japan-related culture.
On October 10th, Palmeri addressed the ongoing Israel-Gaza conflict and a tentative peace deal, calling out what he described as “performative” supporters of Palestine and criticizing those who downplay Donald Trump’s involvement:
“Palestine is now free. Wonder what kind of mental gymnastics people are doing to discredit Donald Trump for his involvement. You can all remove the flags from your bio of a country you never intended to visit in your lifetime and move on to your next performative cross to bare.”
He went on to describe the trend of performative activism as exactly that—a trend, nothing more, nothing less. Palmeri added a more confrontational message aimed at critics, writing:
“My @’s hella quiet. What’s wrong you commie retard scumbags? Aren’t you happy? Or has the reality that your zero substance life has absolutely nothing to hold on to is setting in and now you’re panicking? Either way. Fuck all of you. Always hated you. Always will. You suck.”
Palmeri also responded to a tweet from user Andrew Quackson, who wrote, “I think libtards are as histrionic as they are because they have not faced any consequences in the past 50 years or so.” Palmeri’s reply was brief and pointed:
