British alternative rock outfit Enter Shikari have officially canceled their planned 2026 North American touring schedule after ongoing visa complications prevented the band from moving forward with the dates.
The group had been scheduled for two separate North American runs this year, including a June tour alongside Boston Manor and Initiate, followed by a second leg in September and October with Initiate and another support act that had yet to be announced.
In addition to those headline dates, the cancellations also impact the band’s planned appearances at Warped Tour and Summerfest.
Sharing the news in a statement posted May 15, the band said the decision came after visa-related issues continued to create uncertainty surrounding the touring plans.
“Hello USA & Canada. We wish we were here with better news.”
“Unfortunately, despite best efforts at our end, due to ongoing visa issues that look extremely unlikely to be sorted before some massive financial decisions need to be made, we’re in the position where we have to cancel both legs of the planned touring in North America this year, along with our Warped Tour and Summerfest appearances.”
The band emphasized that canceling the run was not a decision they made lightly.
“If you know us, you know that this isn’t a decision taken lightly and we’re gutted that we’re not able to be with you in 2026.”
Rather than postpone the dates amid uncertainty, the group opted for full cancellations and refunds while beginning discussions about a possible return next year.
“We’re already starting the process of trying to make plans for 2027 but, with uncertainty around the timeframes getting visas secured, we did not want to simply postpone and reschedule these shows.”
The statement concluded with the band thanking fans for their patience and continued support.
“We were really looking forward to bringing ‘Lose Your Self’ to you, and we hope to have better news regarding that sooner rather than later.”
The canceled touring cycle was set to support the band’s recently surprise-released eighth studio album, ‘Lose Your Self’, which arrived on April 10. Despite the North American cancellation, Enter Shikari still plan to tour throughout Australia, Europe, and the UK later this year.
