Escape The Fate Earn First-Ever Platinum Single In The U.S. With “One For The Money”

Escape The Fate have officially secured their first platinum-certified single in the United States.

The Las Vegas post-hardcore/metalcore outfit saw their 2013 track “One For The Money” surpass the platinum threshold, with the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) certifying the song gold and platinum on February 20th, 2026. The track originally appeared as the third single from the band’s fourth studio album, Ungrateful.

This milestone follows another major achievement for the band. In July 2025, their 2006 debut album, Dying Is Your Latest Fashion — released during the band’s early era with former frontman Ronnie Radke — was certified gold in the United States.

A platinum certification in the U.S. represents 1,000,000 units moved, while gold status reflects 500,000 units. In addition to traditional physical and digital sales, RIAA certifications factor in streaming metrics. Ten permanent digital track downloads count as one unit, while 1,500 on-demand audio or video streams equal one album-equivalent unit. For singles, 150 streams equate to one track-equivalent unit.

With “One For The Money” now officially platinum, Escape The Fate add another significant benchmark to their nearly two-decade career.
