Bay Area thrash metal legends Exodus have officially unveiled their latest single, “Promise You This,” offering another preview of their upcoming studio album ‘Goliath’, which arrives March 20th via Napalm Records.
The newly released track showcases the band’s trademark blend of crushing riffs and groove-driven aggression, continuing the momentum leading into what will mark their twelfth full-length release.
Speaking collectively about the song, the band explained its personal inspiration while highlighting its sonic intensity:
“‘Promise You This’ is one of our favorite songs on the new record, it’s just heavy as fuck but rocks just as hard. The song was inspired by some of the life lessons learned from my father and how long it took me to really listen.”
With ‘Goliath’ set to drop this week, the single further reinforces Exodus’ enduring place within the thrash metal landscape, balancing raw heaviness with reflective lyrical themes drawn from personal experience.
