Fallujah Explain Scott Carstairs’ Tour Absence, Recruit Former Guitarist Nico Santora As Fill-In

Fallujah have clarified why founding guitarist Scott Carstairs has been absent from the band’s current spring touring run.

According to the group, Carstairs is temporarily sitting out the trek due to a scheduling conflict involving his other band, Entheos, who are preparing to head out on tour with Jinjer and Crystal Lake.

Meanwhile, Fallujah are currently touring alongside Between The Buried And Me and Imperial Triumphant.

The band confirmed today, May 28th, that former Fallujah guitarist Nico Santora has stepped in as a temporary live replacement. Santora is also known for his work with Darkest Hour, The Faceless, Suicidal Tendencies and more.

The band shared the following statement regarding the situation:

“Some of you may have noticed that our guitarist & founding member Scott Carstairs isn’t with us for our US tour with Between The Buried And Me and Imperial Triumphant. Due to a prior commitment with his other band Entheos, we will instead be joined by our good friend & previous Fallujah member Nico Santora.

We fully support Scott in his decision to balance Fallujah with his other commitments, and we will be rejoining for all other shows including Loud As Hell Fest and the Australian Shred Fest tour later this year. In the meantime, we hope that you’ll give a warm welcome to Nico and come see us shred together on the road.”
