Emerging progressive metalcore outfit FERVENCE have officially signed with Metal Blade Records, joining the legendary label’s storied roster for the release of their next full-length album.
Originally hailing from Reno, NV, Fervence made the bold decision in 2024 to leave their roots behind and relocate to Austin, TX—a move that paid off in spades. Their genre-blending sound—pulling from influences like Deftones, Architects, and Silent Planet—mixes ambient beauty with sheer sonic aggression. After self-releasing their 2020 debut Ghost in the early days of the pandemic, the band steadily rebuilt their momentum and sound following lineup changes and a revitalized focus.
With the addition of vocalist Stevie B. in 2023, the band entered a new era of creative intensity. Their track “The Keepers” marked a turning point, gaining international traction and helping to ignite label interest. By May 2025, FERVENCE were officially signed to Metal Blade Records.
Vocalist Stevie B. offered:
“I’ve been dreaming of being in a metal band since I was a little girl and my parents were rock promoters in my hometown. I’m so proud of my bandmates for putting their all into this, and absolutely grateful to the legendary Metal Blade Records for picking us up on this journey. I’m gonna give ‘er all I got.”
Guitarist and founding member Trent Odneal added:
“It goes to show, having nurtured our fervent adoration for something I would describe as sacred—music—has opened doors we could have never imagined. I could not possibly be happier and prouder of our team.”
Now immersed in the Texas heavy music scene and gearing up for a packed 2025, FERVENCE are already at work on their most ambitious album yet. A run of summer tour dates has also been confirmed, with more to follow.
