Firstborne have dropped the official video for “Rescue Me,” a standout track from their latest album Lucky. Directed and edited by Drew Kaufman, the video captures the raw energy behind the song’s creation. Guitarist Myrone shared insight into the track’s origin:
“‘Rescue Me’ was the first song we wrote together in person after four years of being pen pals. It was an intense moment of anticipation — like a ‘dog catches car’ feeling. After setting up, Chris asked me, ‘What do you got?’ and that opening riff just poured out.”
Alongside Myrone, Firstborne features powerful vocals from Girish Pradhan (Girish and the Chronicles/The End Machine) and the dynamic drumming of Chris Adler (ex-Lamb Of God/Megadeth), rounding out a lineup that’s making waves.
