Fit For A King have released their latest single, “Dirt,” giving fans another preview of the expanded edition of their most recent album, ‘Lonely God’, arriving later this month through Solid State Records.
The new track was once again recorded with producer Daniel Braunstein, whose credits include Spiritbox and Dayseeker. It follows the release of “Blood Pact” in June, another new song recorded with Braunstein.
Both tracks will appear on the deluxe edition of ‘Lonely God’, which is scheduled to arrive on October 30. The expanded release will also feature two additional tracks, “Steady Doom” and “Blood Pact,” alongside the newly released “Dirt.”
Vocalist Ryan Kirby explained the meaning behind the new single, which tackles the tendency to avoid accountability and blame others for personal failures.
“‘Dirt’ is about struggling to take accept fault for any of your failures. And creating stories of how others lead to your downfall are speeding up the inevitable destruction of your hopes and dreams.”
With “Dirt” now available, Fit For A King are continuing to build on the momentum of ‘Lonely God’ with fresh material ahead of the deluxe edition’s arrival.
