Burton C. Bell, former vocalist of Fear Factory, and Christian Olde Wolbers, the band’s ex-bassist, crossed paths over the weekend at the annual NAMM convention in Anaheim, CA. Despite a history of legal disputes—including a lawsuit from Wolbers and ex-drummer Raymond Herrera that led Bell to declare bankruptcy—the two former bandmates set aside past tensions long enough to pose for a photo together.
Wolbers shared the photo on his social media, captioning it:
“Namm is happening this week and the highlight was catching up with The Dry Lung Vocal Martyr.”
Meanwhile, Dino Cazares, who now controls the Fear Factory trademarks, has continued the band’s legacy with a revamped lineup. Work on the group’s eleventh studio album is currently underway. Bell has been focused on his solo career, while Wolbers remains active in the scene, performing with acts like Vio-lence and Powerflo.
