News is out that former Remembering Never, Ether Coven vocalist “Mean Pete” Kowalsky has passed away. In early 2020, he revealed he was diagnosed with Stage 3 colon cancer. After spending some years undergoing surgery and treatments, he was able to perform at ‘Furnace Fest‘ in 2021. Unfortunately, since then the cancer had returned.
Zao revealed the passing of Kowalsky on tribute with the following post on July 10th:
“Absolutely shocked to hear about the passing of “Mean Pete” Kowalsky. W1e shared many great times on the road (and almost shared more). Any time around him was a good time and the world was a better place with him in it.”
