Early Trivium bassist/guitarist/back vocalist Brent Young has sadly passed away. Young appeared on the band’s 2003 debut album Ember To Inferno, where he performed bass on almost every track. His cause of death is not yet known at this time. Matt Heafy, the band’s frontman/guitarist has offered comments on the passing of his former bandmate, stating:
Having had a couple wonderful years with Brent in the Florida local band scene, doing the Blue demo and ETI together, the very first European mini-tour and first USA tour together – I have nothing but amazing memories of a wonderful person.
