Frozen Soul Release “DEATHWEAVER” Video

Texas death metal heavyweights Frozen Soul have unleashed the official music video for their latest single “DEATHWEAVER”, the third preview from their upcoming album ‘No Place Of Warmth’, due out May 8th via Century Media Records.

The new visual arrives courtesy of director Brendan McGowan (Imperial Triumphant, Inter Arma), continuing the band’s increasingly cinematic rollout for the record.

Vocalist Chad Green described the meaning behind the track as a reflection on identity, mortality, and personal transformation:

“‘DEATHWEAVER’ is about how slowly, in time, you lose pieces of yourself and gain new perspectives. Weaving your memories of life’s experiences to form who you are inside, and the cruel nature of life—the cycle of death—and how hard it is to stay who you are.”

Green also helped shape the concept for the video, which pulls inspiration from Ninja Scroll, Warhammer 40K’s Noise Marines, and 80s horror aesthetics in the vein of Hellraiser, resulting in a dark narrative centered around a centuries-old woman crafting a bone harp from human remains.

He added:

“In the end, the video is about a woman that is centuries old, and in her eyes she is forever chasing her dream of creating the perfect harp. In reality, she is using the flesh, bones, veins, and nerves of her victims (us performing) to make this bone harp—the end reveal is nuts!”

Alongside the new release, Frozen Soul are currently on the road supporting Avatar and Fleshgod Apocalypse, with the tour kicking off in Sacramento and continuing across North America through May.
