Questions continue to surround the future of Furnace Fest, but according to a festival organizer, the beloved Birmingham, Alabama metal and hardcore gathering is still happening in 2026.
As April winds down, many longtime attendees — affectionately known as “furnies” — have repeatedly asked whether the annual event would return this year. Inside the community Facebook group dedicated to the festival, fans have spent months speculating over potential dates, lineup announcements, and whether rumored acts such as The Chariot could be involved.
While organizers have largely remained quiet publicly, they have occasionally stepped into the group to reassure fans that plans remain active.
That happened again this week when Allena Beall of Workplay/Furnace Fest responded to another fan inquiry with a promising update. In her message, she once again stated that Furnace Fest 2026 is still on, while adding that Monster Energy is reportedly one of the main sponsors and already has the event listed on its internal calendar.
That marks the first notable new detail shared publicly in some time, giving fans renewed hope that official announcements could be coming soon.
Beall also reportedly encouraged other current and former members of the organizing team to join the conversation and help confirm that preparations for a 2026 edition are moving forward.
At the time of publication, however, there has been no formal public announcement from either Monster Energy or Furnace Fest regarding sponsorship or festival details.
As of now, there are still no confirmed dates, lineup announcements, or officially announced venue details for Furnace Fest 2026.
Fans will likely continue watching closely for the first official reveal.
