GALACTIC EMPIRE Unleash Metal Cover of Marvel’s Iconic ‘Avengers’ Theme

Galactic Empire, the masked metal outfit best known for their Star Wars-inspired riffs, have expanded their cinematic universe. The band, spearheaded by producers/musicians Carson Slovak and Grant McFarland, just dropped a crushing cover of Alan Silvestri’s legendary Avengers theme from the 2012 Marvel blockbuster.

Lord Sihk of Galactic Empire hyped up the release, declaring:

“Citizens of the Empire, ASSEMBLE. We wanted to honor Marvel’s Phase 1-3 with the most iconic theme in the MCU, originally written by Alan Silvestri. This felt like the perfect track to join our new album Cinemetal.”

The upcoming full-length Cinemetal finds the band venturing beyond a galaxy far, far away, tackling themes from Superman, Batman, Indiana Jones, and more. The record drops October 24th via Pure Noise Records.

Alongside the album, Galactic Empire will be hitting the road for a fall tour, including appearances at Retro Con and a run of U.S. club dates before heading out on the S.S. Neverender Cruise.
