Genghis Tron have released another preview of their upcoming fourth studio album ‘Signal Fire’, with the band now streaming their latest track “Nothing Blooms In The Hollow.”
The cybergrind outfit’s new material continues to push their hybridized approach to extreme music, blending contrasting sonic elements into their signature experimental style.
A press release described the track as combining extreme metal intensity with hypnotic electronic repetition, drawing comparisons across a wide stylistic spectrum.
“grafting the savagery of blast beats onto the hypnotic motorik repetition of krautrock. At this stage, having set out from the beginning to forge common ground between Cryptopsy and Autechre, between Brutal Truth and Boards Of Canada, ugly-beautiful new genre hybrids from Genghis Tron no longer come as a surprise.”
The upcoming album ‘Signal Fire’ is set for release on June 12 via Relapse Records.
With each new preview, Genghis Tron continue to reaffirm their position as one of the more unpredictable and genre-defying acts in modern heavy music.
