While Way is globally recognized as the visionary behind My Chemical Romance, his roots in the heavy and the macabre have never been a secret. However, seeing him trade melodic hooks for the crushing atmosphere of “No Place Of Warmth”—the title track from Frozen Soul’s upcoming album—was a level of intensity few saw coming.
