Ghost Debut New Look in “Satanized” Video, Announce April Release for Next Album “Skeletá”

Ghost has delivered on their promise of a ‘phantasmagoric spectacle’ with the unveiling of their new single, “Satanized”, alongside a striking visual presentation. The reveal also introduced fans to the band’s latest evolution, showcasing revamped attire and the rise of the newest frontman persona, Papa V Perpetua—the latest mantle assumed by mastermind Tobias Forge for this touring cycle.

Accompanying the single’s release, Ghost debuted the 19th chapter of their ongoing web series, expanding the lore surrounding their mysterious clergy. With this new chapter comes the official announcement of the band’s highly anticipated sixth studio album, Skeletá, set to arrive on April 25th via Loma Vista.

Once again, Forge took on the pseudonym Gene Walker to produce the album, enlisting the talents of Andy Wallace (Nirvana, Linkin Park) and Dan Malsch (Avenged Sevenfold, Gojira) for mixing.

A press statement describes Skeletá as:

“Ghost’s sixth psalm, Skeletá, is its most unflinchingly introspective work to date. Where previous albums chronicled and observed outward themes—such as Impera’s meditations on the rise and fall of empires or Prequelle’s exploration of devastating plagues—Skeletá shifts inward, presenting the deeply personal emotional landscapes of each of its 10 tracks. The result is a singular collection of timeless, universal sentiments, all filtered through a uniquely personal lens.”
