Since their inception, Ghost has captivated fans with their evolving lore, but mastermind Tobias Forge recently suggested that the narrative aspect may not continue indefinitely. In a conversation with NME, Forge acknowledged that while the storyline has been integral to the band’s identity, there may come a time when it’s no longer essential.
“I think that there might be an end to the storytelling because it’s not productive to have this endless soap opera. If fans need the lore in order to like the band, then that element will probably be over quite soon.”
He emphasized that despite frequent religious criticism, Ghost’s music is ultimately about celebrating life:
“The lore serves as a humorous commentary, but it also follows the subjects presented on the records. As opposed to the public misunderstanding that it is all about Satan, it’s actually all about being alive. It’s a very simple but hugely broad concept… I think the characters are just searching for a sense of purpose.”
Alongside these revelations, Ghost is gearing up to release their new album, Skeletá, and will embark on a massive world tour beginning April 15th. The trek will take them across Europe, North America, and Mexico, with dates spanning into September.

He will make more money if he loses the satanic lore. So many places have banned bands like ghost limiting where they can play and hence making less money. It would make perfect sense to change the theme of the show.
wth even is this ?
We love the lore 😭😭😭
