.Gif From God Premiere “Volatile Simian Nervous-System” Video

Richmond, Virginia mathcore outfit .Gif From God have officially launched the rollout for their upcoming full-length album, ‘Dissimulation’, unveiling a new single and video titled “Volatile Simian Nervous-System.” The record is scheduled to arrive April 16th via Prosthetic Records.

The band collaborated with producer Matt Michel during sessions at Viva Studios while crafting the new album, marking their latest step forward following a series of increasingly chaotic and experimental releases that have helped define their sound within the modern mathcore scene.

Directed by Nicholas Holland, the video for “Volatile Simian Nervous-System” introduces the record’s abrasive tone and disorienting atmosphere. Speaking on the track, the band offered a characteristically cryptic statement:

“Throw a flash bang at my skull ////// I don’t remember anything.”

With ‘Dissimulation’ now on the horizon, the single serves as the first glimpse into what promises to be another intense and unpredictable chapter for the group.
