God Forbid have released a new mini-documentary commemorating the 20th anniversary of their fourth studio album, IV: Constitution Of Treason. Directed, produced, shot, and edited by Chris Aballo (The Out), the feature provides an in-depth look at the band’s past and present, including their 2004 Ozzfest run, the album’s creation, and their 2022 return.
A press release offered the following insight into the documentary:
“Through new interviews with band members Doc Coyle, Byron Davis, John Outcalt and Corey Pierce, along with backstage footage and unseen photographs, this documentary provides an intimate look at the band in 2005 as well as 2025, including their experience of touring as part of Ozzfest in 2004, how writing and recording this album was a leveling up for them, their 2022 resurrection and what it feels like to return to New Jersey in this new phase.”
The documentary coincides with God Forbid’s upcoming anniversary shows, which will be headlined by Darkest Hour as they celebrate their own 30th anniversary. Overcast (Killswitch Engage, Shadows Fall) have been added to open a pair of the dates, replacing Nora, who had to withdraw due to unforeseen circumstances.

Nick is awesome and his Caparison guitar is a thing of beauty but I miss Dallas’s vocals and the ESP DV8’s era. Earthsblood was killer with the 7 string stuff too.
