Godsmack Confirm New Touring Lineup

Multi-platinum hard rock veterans Godsmack have officially locked in their current touring lineup, with frontman Sully Erna confirming the additions of drummer Wade Murff and guitarist Sam Koltun.

Murff—whose résumé includes work with Daughtry, Prong, and Orgy—had already sparked speculation earlier this year after posting covers of Godsmack material online. That speculation has now been confirmed, with Erna revealing he’ll be handling drums moving forward.

Koltun, previously associated with Dorothy, has also officially stepped into the guitar role, continuing on after impressing during auditions.

Speaking on the revamped lineup, Erna emphasized both players’ impact:

“We have a strong lineup right now… Sam came in and blew our mind. His attention to detail and performance really elevated things.”

“And Wade Murff… great guy, great player. I think fans are going to feel at home with how we sound, but there’s also a new breath of life.”

The additions follow the departures of longtime members Shannon Larkin and Tony Rombola, who exited the band in spring 2025.
