Godsmack Announce ‘Live At Mohegan Sun’ Concert Film & Album Arriving In May

Multi-platinum hard rock staples Godsmack have announced a new live release titled ‘Live At Mohegan Sun’, set to arrive May 1.

The upcoming concert film and live album captures the band’s 15-song performance recorded at the Mohegan Sun Arena on October 26, 2024. The release will be available across multiple formats, including Blu-ray, CD, and vinyl editions, featuring both the full live audio and filmed performance. The footage was directed by Daniel D. Catullo III, known for his work on numerous high-profile concert productions.

Frontman Sully Erna shared an emotional statement announcing the project, reflecting on the band’s three-decade journey and the significance of the performance.

“In February of 1995 something incredible happened to me that changed my life forever. It was the birth of Godsmack. Thirty years later, on October 26, 2024, another major pivotal moment in my life happened and will once again change my life forever.

Fans, Friends and Family around the world, I could not be more proud or excited to share with all of you the most incredible piece of work this band has ever been able to capture on film.”

Erna went on to describe the show as an emotional milestone, noting it marks the final filmed performance featuring all four original members onstage together following the departures of guitarist Tony Rombola and drummer Shannon Larkin.

“This really is the final curtain call for the Godsmack you have known and loved for over 30 years… this incredibly special concert could not have been captured without you.”

Pre-orders for ‘Live At Mohegan Sun’ are available now, with collectors editions including vinyl box sets and CD/Blu-ray bundles alongside standard formats.
