Swedish death metal collective Grand Cadaver have returned with “The Rot Beneath”, the pulverizing title track from their upcoming EP. The five-song release is due out August 15th via Majestic Mountain Records.
The band—featuring members of Dark Tranquillity, Katatonia, The Lurking Fear, and more—issued a collective statement about the new material:
“When you look at the state of the world today, it’s difficult not to feel despair. We see madness, death, war, corruption and polarisation. And it makes you think, what are we if not the cause of the problem, what are we but the rot beneath? This is the anthem to mankind’s demise.”
