CAR BOMBS’s Greg Kubacki Unleashes New Solo Project Sun Guts

Car Bomb guitarist Greg Kubacki has officially launched his new solo venture, Sun Guts, marking a fresh creative chapter outside the boundary-pushing math-metal outfit. The first single, “Kilonova,” is out now and also serves as the title track to Sun Guts’ upcoming debut album, set to drop February 10th. Pre-orders are currently live via Bandcamp.

Kubacki explained the project’s long-in-the-works evolution, sharing:

“Insanely stoked to announce my new solo project SUN GUTS. Been secretly and slowly chipping away at this in my spare time and it feels awesome to finally put all of this out.”

The album features 11 tracks showcasing Kubacki’s signature chaotic precision, mechanical heaviness, and experimental soundscapes.
