Gruesome, the death metal force born from a deep-rooted admiration for the legendary DEATH, have returned with a vicious new offering: “Condemned Identity”. The blistering track serves as the lead single from their just-announced full-length album Silent Echoes, set to arrive June 6th via Relapse Records.
Vocalist/guitarist Matt Harvey (EXHUMED, etc.) shared his thoughts on the new song:
“‘Condemned Identity‘ was a no-brainer as the leadoff track for the record as it comes out of the gate at full-strength, putting all of our cards on the table. I mean, yeah it’s more articulate and musical than what we’ve done before, but it’s still very much death metal, which I’m very happy about. Even though we’re incorporating more sophisticated stuff, we can still rip your face off.”
Silent Echoes will mark the band’s first new full-length since 2018’s Twisted Prayers, continuing their tradition of delivering classic death metal with razor-sharp precision and relentless intensity.
