GWAR will celebrate their 40th anniversary this fall with a headlining tour across North America. The interplanetary shock rockers will also be supporting their upcoming multimedia project The Return Of Gor Gor, set for release on July 25th. The unique release will include both new music and an accompanying comic book.
Blöthar the Berserker shared the following about the trek:
“Gor Gor demands sacrifice! The Tyrant Teen is all grown up and he wants love! Don’t look him in the eye!! The beast demands a bride! Come in your bridal finery. An ocean of chiffon to satisfy the bloodlust of the great lizard!”
Joining the run will be alternative metal pioneers Helmet, who will perform selections from their entire career (1989–2025), punk legends The Dwarves, and Blood Vulture, the new band from Two Minutes To Late Night host Jordan “Gwarsenio Hall” Olds.
