UK progressive/alternative metal outfit Haken have officially returned with their first new material in three years, unveiling a new single titled “in a fever dream” alongside a music video.
The track marks a notable shift behind the scenes for the band, with Haken working with an outside producer for the first time. Production duties were handled by George Lever, known for his work with Loathe and Sleep Token.
Adding to the track’s layered approach, the single also features a guest bass performance from Bryan Beller, recognized for his work with The Aristocrats, Dethklok, and Joe Satriani.
Alongside the release, Haken have also confirmed their return to the live stage, with an appearance scheduled at Euroblast Festival, taking place September 25–27 in Cologne, Germany.
