British progressive rock band HAKEN have unveiled a new live video for their fan-favorite track “Puzzle Box”, taken from their forthcoming live album, Liveforms: An Evening With Haken. The performance was captured on September 21st, 2024 at the O2 Forum Kentish Town in London, UK, and the full album is scheduled for release on May 9th via InsideOut Music.
The track originally appeared on the band’s 2018 album Vector and has become a staple of their live shows. The band shared the following about the new live video:
“‘Puzzle Box’ has for a long time been a live favourite of ours due to its balance of relentless heaviness versus its ethereal, experimental and electronic leanings. Since our plans to perform the Vector & Virus albums in full were scrapped in 2020, it was important to us when putting together the ‘Evening With’ setlist that those records should be well represented. From where we stand, those songs have always translated so well live, therefore it was a joy to kick off the 2nd half of our show with ‘Puzzle Box’ each night!”
The upcoming Liveforms release celebrates the band’s rich and complex discography, and the “Puzzle Box” video offers a stunning preview of the energy and precision fans can expect from the full performance.
