Japanese “Harajuku-core” outfit HANABIE. have unveiled a new track, “Bari Bari Buddy,” which serves as the ending theme for the second season of the anime series ‘Reincarnated As A Sword’.
The song marks another anime collaboration for the band, with Yuikina and Matsuri contributing to the songwriting. The group said they aimed to capture the adventurous spirit of the series with an energetic, audience-friendly chorus.
“We’ve created an epic, larger-than-life song that perfectly captures Fran and Teacher’s grand adventure! The chorus is something everyone can sing along to, so I hope you’ll join us and get hyped together.”
HANABIE. also encouraged fans of the series to embrace the song’s central message of friendship, adding:
“And through this series, I hope we can all become totally badass Buddies!”
The new track arrives as HANABIE. prepare to release their next studio album, ‘Umami’. The record is scheduled to arrive December 2, with further details on the album expected ahead of its release.
