Boston hardcore outfit Haywire have shared live footage of their recently debuted cover of “Pleased To Meet You,” originally performed by Trapped Under Ice. The band introduced the cover during their set at Nevermore Hall in Baltimore, MD on March 25th while touring this week.
The performance carried extra significance given Baltimore’s connection to Trapped Under Ice. Vocalist Austin Sparkman introduced the song onstage as a tribute to the hometown hardcore favorites before launching into the 2011 track alongside the band’s high-energy set.
Haywire have since uploaded pro-shot footage of the performance, capturing the crowd reaction and the band’s take on the fan-favorite song.
The group is currently on the road supporting DRAIN on their spring U.S. headlining run, which also includes No Pressure and Secret World. Remaining dates on the tour are listed below.
