Head Automatica’s ‘Decadence’ Set For Newly Remastered Deluxe Edition With Bonus Tracks

Head Automatica have announced a newly remastered deluxe edition of their debut album ‘Decadence’, set for release on July 17 via Omnivore Recordings.

Originally released in 2004, ‘Decadence’ marked a stylistic departure for vocalist Daryl Palumbo, who stepped away from the post-hardcore sound of Glassjaw to explore a more dance-oriented rock direction. The album was produced in collaboration with Dan The Automator and Howard Benson, known for his work with acts such as My Chemical Romance and In Flames.

The upcoming reissue features a full remaster of the original album along with eight bonus tracks, expanding the record’s legacy with remixes and previously released material.

The deluxe edition also includes updated liner notes from journalist Jason Pettigrew and will be available across vinyl and CD formats, with pre-orders currently open via Omnivore Recordings.

A limited run of 50 signed and numbered CD copies will also be available at select upcoming Head Automatica live shows.

In addition, the band is also reportedly working on a long-awaited third studio album, which would serve as the follow-up to 2006’s ‘Popaganda’, though no release date has been announced.
