HEALTH, Ice Nine Kills guitarist/vocalist Ricky Armellino, Periphery guitarist Misha Mansoor, and musician/YouTuber Jared Dines have all contributed new music to the soundtrack of the newly released roguelike action RPG “Crimson Moon.”
The artists collaborated on boss fight music for the game, which was released on September 1 across multiple platforms. The game’s official soundtrack is scheduled to follow on September 4.
Armellino previously shared his excitement over being brought into the project by ProbablyMonsters, praising the game’s blend of gothic and classical influences with heavy metal.
“When I got invited to collaborate with the incredible team at ProbablyMonsters to help bring ‘Crimson Moon’ to life, I was so honored. The game is an epic action RPG that brings gothic and classical elements together with heavy metal, and making these tracks was a blast. I can’t wait for players to hear them in the game next month.”
With the game now available, players can hear the contributions from Armellino, Mansoor, Dines and the other musicians in-game, ahead of the full soundtrack’s release later this week.
