Industrial rock outfit HEALTH have released two original tracks written specifically for the latest film adaptation of the ‘Street Fighter’ video game franchise.
The newly unveiled songs, “NEGATIVE EDGE” and “BRAINROT,” are available to stream below and feature samples drawn from the classic fighting game series. Both tracks were composed expressly for the movie, which officially arrived in theaters today, October 16.
Earlier this week, HEALTH shared the following statement about their contributions to the film:
“WE COMPOSED TWO ORIGINAL SONGS FOR THE NEW STREET FIGHTER MOVIE IN THEATRES OCTOBER 16.
THESE SONGS WERE WRITTEN EXPLICITLY FOR THE MOVIE ABOUT THE MOVIE A LA MEN IN BLACK, WILD WILD WEST, DEMOLITION MAN, THE TOUCH, AND STREETS OF PHILADELPHIA.

The band’s description positions the tracks as songs created specifically around the film itself, rather than simply music licensed for its soundtrack. With both releases incorporating recognizable elements from the ‘Street Fighter’ universe, fans can now hear how HEALTH brought their industrial sound into the franchise’s latest big-screen outing.
