G-punk veterans (hed)p.e. have returned with a new single, “Violent Girl,” accompanied by a new music video directed by Alex Zarek.
The track arrives alongside the launch of pre-orders for the band’s forthcoming album, ‘Relapse,’ which is currently expected to arrive on October 02nd. The record will mark the group’s first release since becoming an independent outfit through their own Creator One label.
Pre-orders for ‘Relapse’ are now available through the band’s official store.
Vocalist Jared Gomes offered a deliberately cryptic explanation of the song’s meaning, making it clear that its title shouldn’t be taken literally.
“‘Violent Girl’ is not a song about a girl! It’s an analogy, a metaphor. I’d rather the listener figure it out than just give away the secrets.”
The “Violent Girl” video is now available to watch online.
