Multi-platinum rock band Hinder has released their new single, “Bring Me Back To Life” and announced their highly anticipated seventh studio album, Back To Life, set for release on May 23. The track, which follows the success of the band’s heaviest song to date, “Everything Is A Cult“, takes a more melodic, pop-rock direction than their previous work. It sparked fresh energy and inspiration for the album, set to drop in 2025.
Drummer and founding member Cody Hanson shared his thoughts on the track:
“When you’ve been writing songs for over 20 years, sometimes you run out of things to say,” he admits. “In life, it’s easy to become complacent and uninspired. That’s why Bring Me Back To Life is such an important song, not just for the album but for our band as a whole. After we wrote an entire album and then scrapped it in 2020, we were feeling discouraged and weren’t sure we’d release any new music, let alone a full album. But when we wrote Bring Me Back To Life, everything changed. Sometimes, it just takes one special song to breathe life back into a band, and this song became the catalyst for the entire album. Needless to say, we’re incredibly excited for the world to hear it.”
