HYEENA, the Massachusetts-based post-metalcore trio featuring former Ligeia vocalist Keith Holuk, has surprisingly dropped their second full-length album, Proxima, along with the video below for the song “Vampire Tornado“. The video was directed by Kristi Xhelili, while the album was recorded by the band themselves with Holuk producing, mixing, and mastering. LXP Art is credited for the album’s artwork.
Holuk offered the following regarding the album:
, “So, we recorded a new album and I wanted to release it all at once this time. I know everyone releases singles one at a time these days, but for this new album I wanted to just blast it out. When I’m made aware of a new song being released, I want to hear it immediately and to also be able to hear the rest of the album at that moment would be even better! I think in the future we will try releasing singles one at time, but for now it’s a HYEENA Proxima extravaganza!”
